Job summary

Indiana Furniture in Jasper, IN is seeking a Material Handler/Kitter to join our manufacturing team. This FT role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, pulling materials, using a scanner, and supporting assembly as needed.

Candidates must be reliable, able to multitask, and willing to cross-train in other areas. Safety is the top priority and punctuality is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to multitask and stay organized.
• Able to operate a computer and scanner for inventory tasks.
• Pull material as needed and place in assembly carts.
• Pull parts from pallets and move to work areas.
• Attention to detail in material handling and documentation.
• Willing to cross-train in other areas and jobs.
• Load, unload or stack containers, materials or products.
• Lift up to 50 lbs maximum and up to 20 lbs regularly; heavier loads require assistance.

Responsibilities

Description

All employees must wear safety glasses at all times. (Non-prescription safety glasses will be provided by Indiana Furniture.) Hearing protection and work gloves are available upon request. Individuals accepting job assignments with Indiana Furniture must be able to work during scheduled work hours on a regular basis.

Material Handler/Kitter must be able to perform the following functions with or without reasonable accommodations:
