Job summary

Lanco in Illinois is seeking a Material Handler to support production through shipping, receiving, inventory control and cycle counting. You will complete transactions in the ERP system and via barcode scanner with supervision.

The role requires forklift operation, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a factory environment, with focus on safety and continuous improvement. You may participate in team meetings and cross-department projects.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; Material Handler experience.
• Experience making inventory transactions through an ERP system (Epicor E9 preferred) and through barcode scanner.
• Vocational training in Inventory Management, Logistics or material processing.
• Experience picking and issuing material to Production.

Responsibilities

• Performs shipping, receiving, inventory control, and cycle counting tasks.
• Completes inventory transactions and transfers on PC and barcode scanner.
• Assist with Inventory Cycle Count Program and safety compliance.
• Identify opportunities for improvements and participate in team activities.
• Communicate with internal and external partners and support other departments.
