Job summary

Archrock is seeking a warehouse associate to process a variety of transactions related to shipping, receiving, and inventory control. You will unload trucks, inspect materials, prepare items for shipment, and operate forklifts and related equipment on a daily basis.

The role requires 2+ years of warehousing experience, forklift certification, and a good driving record. Proficiency with inventory systems (Oracle preferred) is a plus and adherence to safety and PPE policies is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Skills and Abilities

Ability To

• Perform all assigned duties.
• Demonstrate skills required to obtain forklift operator certification.
• Maintain good housekeeping in assigned area.
• Comply with all applicable safety, environmental, and PPE policies and procedures.
• Effectively demonstrate time management and organizational skills needed to complete competing tasks and meet time sensitive deadlines.

Knowledge

• General knowledge of inventory processes including storing, receiving, packaging, preserving, issuing, shipping, or transferring, and inventory control.
• General knowledge of inventory parts used in assigned area preferred.

Minimum Education And Certification

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
• Forklift operator certification.

Minimum Experience

• Typically at least 2 years related warehousing and inventory experience.
• Experience with inventory management systems preferred, preferably with Oracle.

Leadership

• May serve as a resource to others with less experience.

Physical Demands

• Must be fit for duty for the job tasks being performed.

• Must meet the medical requirements necessary to wear PPE required by role.
• Constantly required to stand, display good manual dexterity and to reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently required to talk and hear.

• Occasionally required to stoop, twist, kneel, and squat.
• Occasionally required to crawl, climb in and around equipment, stairs and slanted ladders.
• Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
