CEVA Logistics is seeking a Material Handler III / Operations - Team lead for the 1st shift in Millington, TN. The role oversees warehouse floor employees and coordinates daily operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy in shipping, receiving and records management.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in manufacturing or warehouse settings, and leadership experience. Proficiency in MS Office and basic data entry is expected, as well as lean manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Minimum one year experience in manufacturing or warehouse with shipping and receiving experience.
• Leadership experience preferred; LEAN Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and Kaizen, 5-S knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office, internet, web-based and job-specific software applications; accurate typing / data-entry skills.

• Communicate with the customer via fax, email, paper, telephone and in person.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED; Minimum one year experience in manufacturing or warehouse with shipping and receiving experience. Leadership experience preferred. LEAN Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and Kaizen, 5-S Knowledge preferred.

Skills:

• * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
• * Accurate typing skills and/or data entry skills.
• * Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Characteristics:

• * Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in demanding environments with tight deadlines. Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs. Ability to lead projects and others. Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.
