Job summary

Horsepower Automotive Group in Chandler, AZ is hiring a Material Handler II to receive, store, and distribute materials within a large, climate-controlled facility. The role requires operating forklifts and dual-function vehicles, recording movements, labeling shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package. Schedule is Full-Time, 8-hour shifts, Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:30pm, with a physical workload including lifting 50-100 pounds

Qualifications

• Independently load and unload materials, check, assemble, and process documents, and route materials and equipment to correct locations or storage areas.
• Knowledge and use of automated equipment such as optical readers, scanners, computer keyboards, to receive and transmit 'pick and stow' data into a central computer.
• Skilled at inventory data, access materials, and fill item requisitions.
• Experience in stacking, moving, and arranging items on pallets.
• Able to use pallet measuring gauges and automated devices to ensure that proper height, weight, and other load and storage requirements are met.
• Employees will be required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch, talk and hear.
• Self-motivated, assertive, and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative and an overall team player
• Able to use Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute materials, equipment, and products within the facility.
• Record movement of product on the appropriate forms.
• Label skids for shipment with correct Lot Number and Destination.
• Perform all other duties related to this department.
