Responsibilities

• Uses a handheld inventory module to assess supply needs on approximately 300 items across up to 8 clinical areas and communicates with staff.
• Replenishes supply items daily and reports stock shortages and trends to supervision and clinical areas.
• Ensures inventory issuance/returns data is entered into the MMIS and calculates unit of measure conversions.
• Contacts departments daily to monitor service concerns and conducts analysis to resolve issues.
• Maintains an orderly work environment, rotates stock, validates expiration dates, disposes refuse, and adheres to storage requirements.

Acts as the front line liaison to the clinical departments and handle all supply related tasks for the area including assessing supply needs on over 300 line items, inventorying supplies regularly and providing replenishment of supplies.

**Job Description:****Essential Responsibilities:** 1. Uses a handheld inventory module to assess supply needs on approximately 300 items in up to 8 different clinical areas. Becomes familiar with each supply item including nomenclature, unit of measure, and product family and is able to communicate effectively with clinical staff.2. Replenishes all supply items daily and provides feedback on any stock shortages. Communicates usage trends, shortages, picking errors and damaged items to supervision and the clinical areas.3. Assures that all necessary information pertaining to inventory issuance and returns is accurately entered into the MMIS. Calculate unit of measure conversion rates.4. Contacts customers on a daily basis to monitor any service concerns individual departments may be experiencing as it relates to materials management. Conducts analysis to eliminate continuing issues.5. Maintains a neat, orderly work environment in each of the clinical areas serviced, including rotation of stock, validation of expiration dates, disposable of any refuse, adherence to storage requirements, and neatening of existing stock.**Required Qualifications:**1. Job is physical in nature and employee needs to stand and/or move around through the majority of their shift.**Pay Range:**$19.00 - $25.57The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
