Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Material Handler II to join our operations team. In this hands-on role you will handle inventory control, stockroom management, kitting, expediting, and oversee shipping and receiving to ensure seamless logistics.

You will follow procedures, use scales and counters, identify parts, record transactions, conduct cycle counts, and train co-workers. A HS diploma and 1 year of relevant experience are typically required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience in material handling, warehouse operations, packaging, and/or shipping/receiving is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of material handling and packaging equipment.
• Identify parts, components, wires, and materials using markings and labels.
• Follow instructions and work instructions to complete tasks accurately.
• Perform bulk counting using scales and tape & reel counters.
• Fulfill orders according to BOM requirements.
• Package parts to prevent damage following proper handling procedures.
• Store and shelve inventory following established procedures.
• Record inventory transactions using computer systems and printers.
