Job summary

LS Cable & System U.S.A., Inc. in Tarboro, NC is hiring a Full-Time Material Handler to support production by safely handling and distributing materials and by operating powered material handling equipment.

You will stage raw materials and reels, move items between the warehouse and production lines, tag and weigh scrap, and update locations in SAP; forklift experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school education or the equivalent.
• Previous experience driving forklift.
• Previous computer knowledge or experience.
• Career Readiness Certification

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered material handling trucks.
• Provide any needed raw materials or reels for production lines
• Move warehoused raw material items to lines
• Move excess raw materials back to the warehouse after a production is completed on a line
• Move finished product into the finished goods reel yard and update location in SAP
• Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.
