Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift safety class, forklift operation test and eye exam required.

Responsibilities

• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control lifting equipment.
• Positions forks or lifting devices under, over or around pallets and transports to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets by hand as needed.
• Maintains safety checks on lift truck to ensure safe operation.
• Performs duties safely and in compliance with safety rules.
• Supplies materials to lines manually or with power equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
