Job summary

Lifetime Brands, Inc. is seeking machine operators for our new Distribution Center in Hagerstown, MD. You will work with the Maintenance Manager to label the new racking system in a state-of-the-art facility.

Initially, you will help prepare the DC for operation, including labeling racks up to 35 feet high with a scissor lift. After startup, you will move products with powered industrial trucks, follow procedures, and assist with shipping/receiving while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–4 years experience operating light industrial equipment.
Certification on Electric Jack, sit-down forklift, and/or Order Picker and/or Reach.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Experience with WMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate powered light industrial trucks to move product within the warehouse.
Follow daily procedures and training as directed.
Review orders and place them in designated areas per the manifest.
Label racks using a scissor lift up to 35 feet.
Perform preventative maintenance checks before use and complete inspection cards.
Conduct general housekeeping and clean up pallets and debris.
Return equipment to charging station and prepare for overnight charge.
Follow OSHA safety regulations and company guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
