Job summary

Schwan's is hiring for a full-time material handler in a food manufacturing environment. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential for non-day hours; shift is 1st (5:00 am – 1:30 pm).

You will move materials, stack pallets, and perform basic audits while benefiting from industry-leading PTO and health plans. Eligible candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related experience, and must be able to work in freezers and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Must be able to work in freezers with subzero temperatures for 4-8 hours per day and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and supplies using material handling equipment.
• Stack skids or pallets in designated areas and dispose of scrap bracing cardboard and strapping.
• Place items in proper containers or designated areas and conduct intermediate material audits.
