Job summary

CJ Schwan’s is hiring a full-time Material Handler in a busy food-manufacturing facility in Ohio. Starting pay is $18.75 per hour on the 1ST shift (5:00 AM–3:30 PM). You will move materials, operate carts and pallet jacks, and stack pallets to keep production flowing.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of related experience. You must be able to work in freezers with subzero temperatures for 4–8 hours per day and stand for long periods.

• Must be able to work in freezers with subzero temperatures for 4–8 hours per day and stand up to hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Moving materials and supplies through the facility which may require the use of material handling equipment such as carts, conveyer belts, and pallet jacks.
• Stacking skids or pallets in designated areas, cleaning and disposing of scrap bracing cardboard and strapping.
• Placing items in proper containers or designated areas and conducting intermediate material audits.
