Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in South Carolina is seeking a Material Handler. You will support operations by moving materials and inventory, constructing packaging boxes, and picking merchandise to verify orders. You will also label products using a handheld scanner and ensure accurate handling of goods.

The role requires 1 year in a warehouse, knowledge of warehouse management systems, and the ability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime including various shifts.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Support operations by moving materials and inventory throughout the facility
• Construct packaging boxes
• Pick merchandise and verify orders
• Label products and utilize a handheld scanner.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment
• To be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems
• Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime as needed, which may include days, evenings, nights and/or weekends

It'd be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience as a material handler

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Sit, walk or stand for long periods of time
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
