Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is hiring for a Warehouse Associate on 2nd shift to support order picking and shipping.

Operate powered industrial trucks, perform receiving and stocking, and maintain a clean, safe facility while following safety rules. Prior forklift experience and a high school diploma are required; certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders and move to packing/shipping areas.

• Receive inbound material, unload shipments, and process returns.
• Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized facility; report hazards and accidents.

Pay Rate

• Entry Rate: $20.78
• 3 months Progression Increase: $21.90
• Plus a shift differential of $0.50

• Monday - Friday
• 4:30PM - 1:00AM

Primary Objective

Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to the packing station or the shipping area.

Major Function And Scope

• Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing materials, and conducting daily cycle counts.
• Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operates forklift equipment.
• Maintains a clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.
• Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience And Knowledge Required

• High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.
• 1 or more years of previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months of previous stand-up forklift , sit down forklift and order picker equipment experience. No experience required for pallet jack.
