Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler II for a 1st shift in New Jersey. You will move materials, build packaging, pick merchandise, and verify orders using a handheld scanner. Typical day involves working with inventory and ensuring accurate labeling and packaging. Overtime may be required.

Candidate must have at least 1 year warehouse experience and knowledge of WMS. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with the possibility of overtime and a stable schedule.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Support operations by moving materials and inventory throughout the facility
• Construct packaging boxes and pick merchandise
• Verify orders, labelproducts,and utilize a handheld scanner

What you need to succeed at GXO :

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)

It'd be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience as a material handler
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Lift objects of various shapes,sizes,and weights
• Sit,stand,or walk for long periods of time
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot orcold warehouse environments
