Job Overview

Implements procedures, tools, and techniques for moving materials throughout and from the manufacturing facilities. The shift is “A” shift (con ops schedule). Shift differential will be 7%. Work schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday one week and then Wednesday Thursday the following week. Total of 60 hours one week and 24 hours the following week. 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Job Requirements
  • Supply operators with material needed for production
  • Empty scrap, weigh scrap and load onto trucks
  • Deliver finished product to Packaging department, scan, stretch wrap, create Interplant Bill of Landing and place on truck
  • Supply Department with necessary supplies
  • Communicate with Leaders for follow-up or specific instructions daily
  • Operate manual pallet jacks and moving carts constantly
Background
  • Forklift experience preferred; forklift certification preferred
  • Computer skills required
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment physical testing
  • Ability to work in a team environment with other material handlers on shift as well as assembly / production operators
  • Must be able to lift and carry a maximum weight of 30 lbs safely & dependably
  • Must be able to push a maximum weight of 90 lbs safely & dependably
  • Must be able to pull a maximum weight of 90 lbs safely & dependably
  • Frequently required to extend arms and hands between knees & shoulders; frequent holding and grasping with hands.
  • Frequent standing and walking are required in this job.

Compensation
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $37,100 – $55,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
