Job summary

Scientific Games in Duluth, GA is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, storing and order fulfillment across our warehouse and production lines.

You will review orders, stock and distribute merchandise, maintain records, and prepare items for final shipment. The role requires a high school diploma and less than one year of related experience, plus the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate a forklift as needed.

Job description

Material Handler: Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Demonstrates ability to learn and support several aspects of function. Handles routine activities.

Education

Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
