Responsible for daily warehouse duties, including but not limited to:

  1. Material transactions and movement
  2. Move orders
  3. Replenishments
  4. Min/Max inventory levels
  5. Cycle counting
  6. Receiving and put away
  7. Inventory control assistance
  8. Picking
  9. Sales force initiation

As our Material Handler II, you’ll support HID’s success by:

  1. Complying with SOPs and work instructions related to your job function
  2. Being accountable for performance standards to ensure positive contribution to area KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost)
  3. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives
  4. Collaborating with peers and internal customers
  5. Setting up and operating automatic and semi-automatic machines
  6. Conducting manual production operations as required
  7. Performing daily 5S and preventive maintenance of equipment and surrounding areas
  8. Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and communicating opportunities
  9. Logging and escalating potential issues proactively to minimize safety, quality, delivery, and operational inefficiencies
  10. Participating in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
  11. Maintaining personal training logs via MyHID
  12. Implementing Help Desk tickets for IT and Engineering issues

Your Experience and Background include:

  1. At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred
  2. High school diploma or equivalent required
  3. Ability to work at a fast pace with high attention to detail
  4. Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, and different shifts as needed
  5. Ability to learn, use, and maintain specialized equipment
  6. Adaptability to constant change
  7. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  8. Ability to read and interpret technical journals, standards, and specifications
