Job summary

Nihon Kohden Orange Med in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Material Handler I to perform warehouse functions including receiving, stocking, picking, shipping, and inventory control in support of medical device manufacturing. This role requires a high school diploma, at least 2 years in a warehouse or regulated environment, basic computer skills, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse or material handling experience.
• Experience in GMP/ISO-regulated environments preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or ERP systems.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, inspection, and verification of incoming materials in accordance with established procedures.
• Accurately pick, stage, and ship materials to support production and work orders.
• Support foam and cart production activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, transactions, and system updates.
• Ensure proper material storage, identification, and traceability in compliance with quality standards.
• Complete and maintain documentation in accordance with GMP and company procedures.
• Follow all applicable FDA, ISO, and internal quality system requirements.
• Assist with general warehouse operations and cross-functional tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, and Supply Chain and Customer Service.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
• Other duties as assigned.
