Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a Material Handler Class I for the Receiving WKD shift in Warsaw, KY. The role involves operating powered equipment such as sit-down forklifts and reach trucks, performing equipment checks, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced facility.

Candidate must pass the forklift/industrial equipment test, follow procedures, and be able to work overtime. We offer a full benefits package and opportunities for growth within a large automotive parts company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to pass motorized industrial equipment test and obtain license.
• Rotate position / jobs as required.
• Meet safety, accuracy, productivity and housekeeping minimum standards.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently.
• Timely and regular attendance; must be able to work OT if needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift, stock picker and reach truck.
• Perform daily checks of equipment prior to operating equipment.
• Operate within standard operating procedures.
• Use hand-held or truck mounted RF scanners.
• Adhere to all safety standards and PPE guidelines.
• Maintain accurate logs or other required documentation.
• Follow work order instructions to perform assignments throughout the facility.
• Follow documented procedures with accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned
