Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is hiring a Material Handler I for our Distribution Center. You will read pick tickets, verify quantities, and carefully pack items for shipment while maintaining safety and accuracy under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of related experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees and managers.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity in all actions.

Responsibilities

• Read pick ticket to determine location and quantity of items.
• Mark pick ticket with markings to show correct quantity and product picked/packed.
• Walk with urgency while picking orders; may involve ladders.
• Pack product in appropriate size box to prevent damage.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and follow detailed instructions.
• Perform other related duties as required and adhere to safety rules.
