Oregon Freeze Dry in Albany, Oregon targets a Material Handler 1 to pick, pack and stage customer orders in a fast-paced distribution center. You will use RF scanners, verify item accuracy, and ensure orders meet safety and quality standards.

This full-time role requires 0-1 years in fulfillment or warehouse, a high school diploma, and strong attention to detail. Teamwork, reliable attendance, and the ability to follow instructions are essential.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years in fulfillment operation or warehouse environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions accurately.
• Ability to perform duties after training.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment and inventory handling.
• Prior warehouse, manufacturing or fulfillment experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Awareness of workplace safety practices and ability to follow them.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products according to customer orders and procedures.
• Verify item accuracy, quantities, and lot information prior to packing.
• Properly pack and label orders for shipment.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and order movement.
• Stage completed orders in designated shipping locations.
• Maintain warehouse conditions meeting USDA/FDA and customer requirements; audit readiness.
• Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance on a full-time basis.
• Embody OFD’s cultural values in daily actions.
