Stryker Corporation is recruiting a Material Handler I for the Portage, MI plant on the 1st shift. You will cross-train across production areas, operate forklifts as needed, and help move parts and materials through the line with emphasis on quality and traceability.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and ability to meet overtime and weekend work when required. Onsite scheduling applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in material handling and warehousing is preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and understand inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Move parts and materials across the manufacturing area with quality and efficiency.
• Maintain and reconcile a computerized inventory system.
• Set up, prepare, and clean work areas while ensuring traceability.
• Cross-train across production areas including forklift operation.
