Job summary

Dal-Tile Distribution, Inc. in Sunnyvale, TX, is seeking an intermediate level Material Handler to stock, check, wrap, and load/unload materials and operate powered industrial trucks.

You will pull and assemble orders, perform stock checks and cycle counts, keep the area clean, and follow safety rules. Shift is 1st, Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM; pay starts at $18.54/hr with a 3-month progression to $19.66/hr.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or experience; Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.
• 1+ years in distribution/warehouse experience.
• Minimum 6 months experience with stand-up forklift or order picker; pallet jack experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Pull/assemble customer orders and check outbound orders for accuracy.
• Perform inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor products, and maintain displays.
• Move, store and replenish material; conduct daily cycle counts.
• Receive and unload inbound material; process shipments and returns.
• Operate forklift equipment and maintain a clean, safe facility.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an intermediate level Material Handler to join our TEAM! As a material handler we need someone that is experienced in stocking, checking, wrapping, and loading and unloading materials.

Pay Rate:

• Entry Rate: $18.54

• 3-month Progression Increase: $19.66

Shift:1st Shift

• Monday - Friday.

• 8:00AM-4:30PM

Primary Objective:

Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shipping area.

Major Function and Scope:

• Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.), move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.

• Performs receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.

• Operates forklift equipment.

• Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.

• Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management.

• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.

• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.

• Must have a minimum of 6 months previous stand-up forklift or order picker equipment experience. No experience required for pallet jack.
