Veolia North America seeks a hands-on Waste Technician to perform routine hazardous and non-hazardous waste tasks, moving solids and liquids under supervision. You will assist in loading/unloading containers, use tools like impact wrenches and shovels, and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Responsibilities include transporting materials within the facility, decontaminating empty drums, and completing required paperwork for processing and transport, adhering to disposal guidelines.

Position Purpose:
Responsible for performing a variety of routine hazardous and non-hazardous waste tasks in the movement of solids and liquids. Under direct supervision, tasks could include all types of manual labor in cleaning and decontamination operations, vacuum projects and handling, packing, re-packing, unloading and loading containers for processing at site or transportation to appropriate facilities.
