Job summary

Century-Arms, Inc. in Fairfax, VT, is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for safe handling of products and parts, accurate entry into the boundbook, and safe operation of industrial equipment.   • Certified on industrial equipment to move materials to and from various locations including loading docks, trucks, and warehouse environment.
  • Banding and wrapping of pallets to ensure quality of product.
  • Prepare packaging materials for product.
  • Ensure labels are properly affixed to outside of product container.
  • Counts on firearms and parts under direct supervision as needed.
  • Assemble boxes to meet established daily goals.
  • Transports materials, supplies, and finished goods with care and caution.

Job description

Responsible for the safe and damage free handling of all products and parts throughout the warehouse. Accurate acquisition and disposition of product in boundbook. Safe operation of industrial equipment.

  • Certified on industrial equipment to movematerials to and from various locations including, loading docks, trucks, and warehouse environment.
  • Acquisition and disposition of product in boundbook using ERP system and always ensuring accuracy.
  • Banding and wrapping of pallets to ensure quality of product is maintained.
  • Prepare packaging materials for product.
  • Ensure labels are properly affixed, to outside of product container.
  • Performs counts on firearms and parts under direct supervision as needed.
  • Assemble boxes to meet established daily goals.
  • Transports materials, supplies, and finished goods with care and caution.

Working Conditions

Work is normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment and throughout a heated manufacturing and warehouse facility. Exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of light manufacturing, shipping and receiving, and normal office equipment (computers, telephones, etc.). No known environmental hazards are encountered in normal performance of job duties.
