Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Material Handler (SAP) for a prominent client in Geneva, NY. The role requires loading production lines with materials and performing SAP entries to support manufacturing operations.

The position offers second or third shift options (2:45pm–10:45pm or 10:45pm–6:45am) and includes direct hire placement with benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401K. Candidates should have a high school diploma and solid English and math skills.

• Prior material handling or production experience.

Responsibilities

• Enter material related transactions into SAP.
• Supply and load production lines with materials and in-process goods.
• Fill bins with bottles and caps to ensure uninterrupted production and verify QA.
• Load skids with in-process and finished goods and tag accordingly.
• Organize boxes and set up carton packaging; form boxes as needed.
• Keep work area clean and organized; clean spills and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Material Handler (SAP) for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Geneva, NY.

Title: Material Handler (SAP)

Location: Geneva, NY 14456, USA

Shift: Available for 2nd shift, 2:45pm to 10:45pm (or) 3rd Shift, 10:45pm to 6:45am

Duration: Direct hire placement (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K)

Hourly Rate on W2: $20-27/hr. (Based on experience)

Job Description:

• Enter material related transactions into SAP
• Supply and load production lines with materials and in-process goods for entire production operation.
• Fill bins with bottles and caps to ensure uninterrupted production and verify incoming quality and conformance to current production run.
• Load skid with various in-process and finished goods, mark with appropriate tickets, move off the line and stage, load as necessary.
• Organize corrugated boxes and set up carton packaging, hand form boxes, as necessary.
• Keep work area neat, clean orderly; clean up spills and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• The primary purpose of a Material Handler is to supply all necessary materials for production lines to maximize efficient and effective production.
• High School Diploma/HSE strongly preferred
• Demonstrated relative work experience.
• Good communication skills and proficient in reading and writing English for safe and effective performance of the position.
