Job summary

Contec Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support on-time quality orders by loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site.

You will also perform kitting and assist in loading/unloading activities, following traveler instructions and ensuring proper handling. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, and a valid forklift license; related experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Licensed Forklift Operator.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
• Move materials within plant, yard, or work site as directed.
• Convey materials from storage to designated area and assist in kitting.
• Maintain daily production sheets; operate forklift as needed.
• Ensure materials are properly strapped and secured for transport.
