Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Material Handler to support our home building operations. The role involves forklift operation, moving materials to the plant and various departments, receiving deliveries, and confirming packing slips match shipments.

You'll work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment with a focus on accuracy, safety, and timely material flow. High school diploma or equivalent and forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Previous construction or warehouse experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Experience operating a forklift or forklift certification preferred, training available.

Responsibilities

• Drive Forklift and move materials as needed.
• Provide materials to plant and departments in a timely manner.
• Receive and check deliveries against packing slips.
• Organize materials and ensure accurate placement.
• Assist in material staging and timely material flow.
