Job summary

David C Cook Elgin distribution center is seeking a Material Handler to support inbound stock, replenishment, and order fulfillment. The role requires forklift certification (sit-down/stand-up), experience with Körber Edge WMS, and proficient use of handheld scanners to maintain accurate inventory and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities include stocking to flow racks, picking TL/LTL orders, and assisting with cycle counting and safety housekeeping. Hours typical from 7:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• 0–2 years in Distribution/Logistics (Material Handling, Receiving, or Cycle Counting).
• Lift Truck Certified with experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts, order pickers, and scissor lifts.
• Proficient use of Körber Edge WMS and handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and handheld devices to move and track inventory.
• Assist inbound stock preparation, replenishment to flow racks, and order picking.
• Support cycle counting and quality control processes to ensure accuracy.
