Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Franklin, Indiana is hiring a Material Handler to join our warehouse team. You will work in a clean, safety-focused environment loading, unloading, and moving HVAC products using powered equipment and WMS order instructions.

This role offers weekly pay, paid training, and a benefits package including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO from day one, and employee discounts. Strong reading, math, and data-entry skills are valued and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two years of related warehouse and powered industrial lift experience.
• Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for safety and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and input data into computer system.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions.
• Pull orders accurately as assigned.
• Stage orders according to carrier location and verify pallet counts and stage locations.
• Prepare receiving, storage and shipping documentation with product accountability.
• Operate forklift equipment or other warehouse machinery.
• May train others in warehouse functions and perform related duties.
