Ryder is hiring Material Handlers in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The role includes sit-down forklift operation, loading, picking, packing, shipping and receiving on a 2nd shift with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator license.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and truck loading/unloading
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Details:

• Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $30.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $2.00 per hour
• Schedule: 2nd Shift (Sunday - Saturday, scheduled 4 days a week; come in 2 of the 3 days to receive overtime) Hours: 4:45 pm – 3:15 am
