Job summary

PERI Canada is seeking an experienced Material Handler to support shipping and receiving in the yard, operating a diesel-powered counterbalance forklift, and handling inventory for outgoing materials and returns.

You will move and organize inventory outdoors, participate in cycle counts, and comply with Health & Safety standards while wearing PPE. The role requires 1–3 years of forklift experience and a Canadian forklift license.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift license from a Canadian training program.
• 1–3 years’ experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
• Experience organizing material in outdoor environments.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Commitment to workplace Health & Safety.

Responsibilities

• Participate in shipping and receiving operations, loading/unloading trucks.
• Operate a counterbalance forklift to pick orders and prepare shipments.
• Support inventory control, cycle counts, and reporting.
• Maintain safety and PPE usage, and report hazards or accidents.
• Ensure attendance and punctuality, and perform related duties.
