Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Certified Forklift Operator for a reputable company in Nampa, Idaho. The role requires a GED or high school diploma, at least 2 years of forklift experience, and the ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and a background check.

Shifts include 10-hour days with varying schedules. You will operate a forklift to move materials, track movements in the ERP system, and ensure GMP, food safety, and safety policies are followed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move raw materials, packaging, finished product and other materials.
• Use a computer to track material movement transactions (incoming/outgoing).
• Observe GMP, Food Safety and Employee Safety requirements.
• Load/unload 53-foot trailers with a lift truck indoors and outdoors.
• Shipping and receiving of products and materials.
• Log incoming material and outgoing pallets in the computer system.
• Recognize shortages and order materials for next shift.
• Staging and preparation of raw materials for use in operations.
• Follow detailed processes to ensure proper completion.

Schedule is Sunday to Wednesday or Thursday to Wednesday 10 hour day & night shifts available.

Current schedule available:

• A Shift-Sunday to Wednesday 9:00am-7:00pm $21.07/hr
• A Shift- Sunday to Wednesday 7:00am-5:00pm $21.07/hr
• B Shift- Sunday to Tuesday with every other Wednesday $23.07/hr
• C Shift Thursday to Wednesday 9:00am-7:00pm $21.07/hr

Position Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to move raw materials, packaging, finished product and other materials from one location to another.
• Use a computer and company systems to track all material movement transactions, both incoming and outgoing.
• Observe all GMP, Food Safety, and Employee Safety requirements.
• Load/unload 53 foot trailers with a lift truck indoors and outdoors
• Shipping and receiving of products and materials
• Log incoming material and outgoing pallets into computer system
• Recognize shortages of materials in the system and order materials for next shift
• Staging and preparation of raw materials for use in operations.
• Follow detailed processes for assigned work to ensure proper completion.

Skills:

• Basic math skills, including competency with weights and measures (must be able to take/record measurements and understand tare weight)

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for an entire shift
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to get on and off of a forklift in a safe manner multiple times per shift
• Must be able to tolerate climate changes due to working in various temperatures indoors and outdoors.
