Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely according to training and safety guidelines
• Load, unload, and store materials from trailers or railcars, minimizing damage
• Store and retrieve materials (piece pick and/or bulk)
• Prepare distribution and shipping paperwork
• Perform daily inspection and maintenance of equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of work area
• Assist with inventory counts as needed

Qualifications

• At least one year of forklift/warehouse experience
• Proficient and safe forklift operation skills
• Ability to follow directions and work independently under pressure
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to read and understand sales orders, purchase orders, safety materials
• Detail-oriented, organized, with basic math skills
• Good work history and safe work record
