Job summary

Quality Enclosures is seeking a Material Handler to support receiving, staging, and shipping activities in a Florida warehouse. The role involves unloading materials, verifying shipments, staging for production, and ensuring accurate inventory.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks while following safety procedures in a non-air conditioned environment. Candidate should have a high school diploma and 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting, with the ability to

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Warehouse or manufacturing experience required.
  • At least 1 year of regular forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to read work orders, labels, and measurements.
  • Basic math, computer, and data entry skills.
  • Ability to work safely with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload incoming materials and products.
  • Verify shipments and report discrepancies.
  • Stage and distribute materials for production and transfer orders.
  • Maintain neat and accurate inventory.
  • Load outgoing shipments and secure materials properly.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely.
  • Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
  • Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Assist with additional warehouse or production duties as needed.

Job description

Quality Enclosures Material Handlers play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing and shipping operations. This role includes receiving incoming materials, staging product for production, loading outbound shipments, and safely operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Receive and unload incoming materials and products
  • Verify shipments and report discrepancies
  • Stage and distribute materials for production and transfer orders
  • Maintain neat and accurate inventory
  • Load outgoing shipments and secure materials properly
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely
  • Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts
  • Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized
  • Assist with additional warehouse or production duties as needed

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Ability to lift, move, push, and pull materials with or without assistance
  • Ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently-
  • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing
  • Work is performed primarily in a non-air-conditioned warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, industrial noise, and moving equipment
  • Exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils & materials
  • Personal Protective Equipment required
