Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC is seeking a Material Handler in Minnesota to efficiently manage inbound and outbound orders within a manufacturing environment. You will operate forklifts, maintain inventory accuracy, and support safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role offers 1st and 2nd shift options (6am-4:30pm and 4pm-2:30am) and requires teamwork, flexibility, and a focus on achieving production goals in a busy facility.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work safely and productively with a focus on leadership.
  • Demonstrated competence in required math skills and accurate use of tape measure.
  • Forklift certification and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate Friedman systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, problem solve, and provide solutions to inventory problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead production and actively support department initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and resolve issues with internal vendors, customers, associates, and supervisors in an effective and positive manner.
  • Ability to maintain production goals, including flexible hours as required.
  • Maintain positive attitude, teamwork, and cooperation.

Responsibilities

  • Assists supervisor with special projects.

  • Supports Continuous Improvement by participating in and sustaining the MasterBrand Way
  • Supports, maintains, and sustains 6S initiatives.
  • Complete and retain MasterBrand Cabinets powered industrial equipment certification to include industrial forklift and aerial platform (required).
  • Train new associates and/or cross-train associates.
  • Update HxH or communication boards as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Description:

1st Shift : Monday- Friday 6am-4:30pm

Work Environment:
  • Manufacturing environment, with frequent exposure to wood dusts, and cabinet-making related materials such as wood glue, requiring eye protection.

  • Exposure to hot and cold temperatures due to non-climate-controlled environment.

  • Exposure to sounds over 85 dB, requiring ear protection.

Sensory/Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent speaking, hearing, near vision, far vision and touch.
