Job summary

Winn-Marion Companies in Centennial, CO is seeking an entry-level Material Handler to support production by kitting parts, pulling items from stock, and ensuring materials are ready for assembly. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing shelves, and performing light assembly using basic hand tools.

Forklift operation is a critical requirement. Adherence to safety protocols is required.

Qualifications

• 6 months forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for inventory management and kitting.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of inventory tracking systems or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Kitting & Material Handling: Accurately pull parts from designated stock locations to prepare kits for production jobs, ensuring timely and correct delivery to the production floor.
• Inventory Processing: Sort and organize shelves to maintain accurate inventory counts, perform regular stock checks, issue parts in inventory software and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to move materials, load/unload deliveries, and transport items within the shop as needed.
• Workspace Maintenance: Keep stock areas, workstations, and shop floor clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Assembly Support: Assist with miscellaneous assembly tasks during downtime, using hand tools and following instructions from production staff.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and safe handling of materials and equipment.
