Job summary

Adecco is supporting KitchenAid in Greenville, OH as a Material Handler, moving, storing, packing and organizing materials and finished goods across warehouse and production areas. You will operate forklifts and other equipment, help keep inventory accurate, and assist with packaging and production tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

This position starts at $18.57 to $19.82 per hour with 1st and 2nd shifts available; orientation begins on 1st shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, with at least 6 months of experience in warehousing, manufacturing, distribution, or related fields.
• Experience operating forklifts and other powered industrial equipment; forklift/PIT
• Proficiency with RF scanners, computers, and inventory management systems.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions, read Bills of Materials (BOMs), and handle shipping and receiving documents accurately.
• Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs., standing and walking for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, tuggers, turret trucks, and other powered industrial equipment to load, unload, move, and transport materials.
• Support warehouse and production workflows by supplying materials, staging inventory, and preparing orders through picking, packing, and kitting.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting cycle counts, processing receiving and shipping activities, and utilizing RF scanners and inventory management systems.
• Perform routine equipment inspections, basic maintenance, and ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties, including material handling, production support, and other tasks as assigned.
