Ameri-Force, Inc is seeking a Material Handler at our Akron, OH facility to support smooth production flows. You will move, store, and deliver materials, ensuring accurate inventory and safe handling of items throughout the shift.

The role requires operating forklifts and related equipment, with emphasis on organization and clear communication with team members. This is an on-site, safety-conscious position under conditions that may involve heat or cold environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in material handling in an industrial setting preferred.
• Proficiency operating forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory records.
• Effective communication with team members regarding material movements.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently move materials, components, and supplies within the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and assist in regular inventory counts.
• Load and unload trucks and verify shipments, inspect materials for damage.
• Store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and safety adherence.
• Deliver materials to production areas or workstations as needed per schedule or requests.
