Job summary

Riverdale Mills Corporation in Northbridge, MA seeks a Material Handler/Forklift Driver to support production lines, inspect and operate forklift, and ensure the safe flow of materials. The role will ship/receive, organize the warehouse, and ensure timely inventory records.

Requirements include a High School diploma and 1–3 years of experience; RF scanner experience and forklift operator training are preferred. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties required for shipping and receiving materials.

• Places stock into inventory locations in a timely manner.
• Delivers raw materials and shop supplies to production areas as required.
• Complies with all existing safety and material handling policies and procedures.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.
• Ensures working orders prior to use.

Shift Schedule

1st shift (6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)

2nd shift (3:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.)

The Material Handler/Forklift Driver performs a variety of standard functions to inspect and operate the forklift truck providing the safe and efficient flow of material throughout the production areas and keeping all lines supplied with work and aisle ways free from debris.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties required for shipping and receiving materials.
• Organizes warehouse as instructed.
• Ensures inventory transactions and material receipts are done in an accurate, timely manner.
• Places stock into inventory locations in a timely manner.
• Delivers raw materials and shop supplies to production areas as required.

Requirements

• Workplace safety training and forklift operation certificate desired.
