Job summary

Clayton is seeking a forklift operator to safely move products to designated areas within a busy facility. You will load and unload materials, maintain accurate documentation, and coordinate with production schedulers and machine operators to ensure smooth material flow.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills. Prior warehouse or construction experience is preferred, and forklift certification is a plus.

Position Summary

Safely moving of product to machine centers, basic organization of product to specified areas of the facility.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift.
• Staying aware of possible hazards and safety protocols.
• Coordinates with Production Scheduler and Machine Operators.
• Loading, unloading of materials.
• Maintains quality expectation of documentation and materials received.
• Maintaining forklift.
• Performs other duties as required by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Previous construction or warehouse experience preferred
• Attention to detail and good communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Experience operating a forklift or forklift certification preferred, training available
