Job summary

Parker Plastics, Inc. is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support production and ensure smooth material flow.

This full-time, on-site role requires operating forklifts, staging raw materials, and maintaining accurate inventory within a temperature-controlled environment. You will assist with line changeovers, cleanliness, and safety initiatives while ensuring quality aligns with food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Stage and deliver raw materials such as resin, boxes, bags, pallets, and packaging supplies to production areas.
• Verify and manage inventory tags and product identification documentation.
• Prepare finished goods for warehouse storage and shipment.
• Return unused raw materials to inventory following established procedures.
• Assist with machine cleaning, material changeovers, and production line support.
• Clear line jams and support downstream production equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards in accordance with food safety and third-party audit requirements.
• Support employee safety and food safety initiatives as assigned.
• Collaborate with production team members and assist where needed to meet operational goals.
