Job summary

TrueNorth Steel in Billings, MT is seeking a materials handler to support unloading and loading of in-bound and out-bound materials and to move material to fabrication areas.

You will follow safety and quality requirements, operate relevant equipment, and work with team members in varying weather. This position offers flexible hours, overtime and weekend work as needed, with full benefit package.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to read a tape measure (imperial and metric).

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and quality requirements.
• Operate equipment to unload, load and distribute material with minimal supervision.
• Communicate with team members verbally and non-verbally.
• Work in all weather conditions (wind, heat, cold, rain, snow).
• Be willing to work flexible hours and overtime or weekends as needed.
• Prompt and dependable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.
