Job summary

Benco Dental, the largest privately owned, full-service dental distributor in the United States, is seeking a Material Handler in Jacksonville, FL. You will oversee moving and distributing merchandise in our warehouse, ensuring accuracy and safety to keep operations organized.

This role offers an 9:30 am-6:00 pm shift, Monday through Friday, with starting pay of $18 per hour and potential to earn $19 after 6 months, plus benefits from day one and a climate-controlled work environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift 50 lbs unassisted.
• Able to withstand warehouse temperatures.
• Shift requires standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing for long periods.
• Ladder use may be required for top-level selection.
• Vision: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus.

Responsibilities

• Stock materials on shelves, in racks, or designated areas.
• Assemble, fill and review orders for shipment.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment.
• Pick and pack hazardous materials per CFR49 & IATA regulations.

Position Summary:

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for overseeing the course of moving and distributing merchandise throughout our warehouse. Your role is an essential component in our company, as your accuracy and precision will allow our warehouses to remain organized and safe.

• Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work areas
• Pick and pack hazardous material items according to the DOT Code of Federal Regulations (CFR49 & IATA Regulations)
