Job summary

Echodyne Corp is seeking a reliable Material Handler to safely move materials and manage inventory in our manufacturing and warehouse operations. You will maintain accurate records, stock materials, and support production on a fast-paced team.

The role reports to the Sr Manager, Production and requires physical endurance and strict attention to detail. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, warehouse experience, and the ability to operate forklifts or pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a warehouse, material handling, or similar role preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently move materials, products, and supplies throughout the building using manual handling or equipment (e.g., lift, pallet jacks).
• Assist in receiving, sorting, and storing materials; ensure items are labeled and tracked.
• Replenish component kanbans to keep production on track.
• Pick parts for kits for the production line per work orders.
• Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Accurately pick and pack materials or products for shipment or use.
• Implement FIFO inventory control to minimize waste.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of materials received, moved, and shipped.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff and production teams.
• Complete other miscellaneous tasks as required.
