Job summary

Magna International, a leading global automotive supplier, is hiring a Material Handler in Ethridge, Tennessee. The role involves shipping/receiving, moving materials, and maintaining PFEP-distributed storage within an ERP system.

You will ensure accurate labeling, proper paperwork, and timely material flow to production cells. The position emphasizes FIFO control, inventory accuracy, and safety compliance, with opportunities to contribute to CPMP/ARAS deliverables and Mafact element

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment handling materials.
• Familiarity with ERP systems for recording material movements and shipments.
• Knowledge of PFEP locations and Plan for Every Part concepts.
• Understanding and application of FIFO inventory practices.
• Commitment to safety protocols and safe operation of material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, verify shipments, ensure proper labeling and documentation.
• Conduct ERP-based processing of material movements and track inbound/outbound activity.
• Move and store materials per PFEP locations and ensure timely delivery to work cells.
• Maintain FIFO rotation and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock.
• Uphold safety procedures and report any hazards related to material conveyance.
• Support CPMP/ARAS deliverables with the materials and logistics team.
• Assist in implementing Mafact elements related to receiving, storage, flow, and delivery performance.
