Job summary

Hilco Vision is seeking an experienced Material Handler at our Fairfield, OH facility. You will conduct put-aways, transfer shipments, and handle material replenishment for the department. This full-time, on-site role runs from 7:00am to 3:30pm with weekly pay.

We value teamwork, safety, and quality, and require a forklift-certified candidate or someone eager to learn. You will lift up to 40lbs, perform line replenishment, and support continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or better required.
  • 1 year of material handling experience preferred.
  • Certified Forklift Operator or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
  • Experience with ERP (M3) and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver raw materials using forklift, pallet jack, or cart.
  • Replenish production lines and track related inventory.
  • Perform QA on finished goods and wrap pallets; move to inventory locations.
  • Label boxes accurately per customer specifications.
  • Track progress of job runs and prepare for changeovers.
  • Organize raw material inventory by job specifications and quantity.
  • Return unused raw materials to inventory.
  • Capable of performing Packaging Operator tasks as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Hilco Vision has an additional state-of-the-art facility in Fairfield, Ohio! We are currently searching for an experienced Material Handler to join the team! The Material Handler is responsible for conducting put-aways, transferring shipments to their designated areas, and overall material replenishment for the department.

The hours for this role are 7:00am - 3:30pm, we pay weekly.

What you'll do and how you'll make an impact:

  • Preparing and delivering raw materials via forklift, pallet jack, or cart for efficient line operations, perform line clearance and set-up for changeovers
  • Replenish production lines with raw materials, and track related inventory using our inventory control system
  • Perform QA on finished goods, wrap pallets properly using automated pallet wrap, receive them into inventory using our inventory control system, and move to proper locations
  • Labeling boxes accurately and neatly, according to the customer specifications
  • Track progress of job runs to avoid over-runs, and to ensure new jobs are prepared for efficient changeovers
  • Organize raw material inventory based on the job specifications and quantity
  • Properly account for, and return unused raw materials to inventory
  • Capable of performing all tasks required of a Packaging Operator when deemed necessary by your supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

  • This role requires the ability to lift 40lbs and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for inputting/updating label information in database.
  • Perform weekly inventory counts on all labels and update ERP system (M3), as necessary.
  • Print product box labels for all departments within manufacturing.
  • Work independently, this role requires about 90% independent work without direct supervision.
  • Process and print all custom label orders on a daily basis.
