Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Material Handler for our Midland, PA galvanizing operation. This role involves hanging and staging materials, wiring parts to racks, and assisting with housekeeping to support production quality.

The candidate should be able to read instructions, operate a crane, and perform paddling and inspections to ensure galvanizing quality. Physical stamina and strict safety adherence are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and use gauges accurately.
• Safety training and compliance with OSHA procedures required.

Responsibilities

• Screen materials to be galvanized and report unsafe or inappropriate materials.
• Operate the overhead bridge crane safely and efficiently.

**Position: ** Material Handler – Direct HireLocation: Midland, PA**Shifts: **First shift ($17 per hour) M to F – 6:15 am – 2:45 pm – must be available to work Saturdays when neededSecond shift($18 per hour) M to F – 2:15 pm – 11:15 pm – must be available to work Saturdays when neededBenefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K with match up to 6%, vacation days up to 14 a year, paid personal days, bonus’Position SummaryResponsible for preparing steel products for the galvanizing process by hanging and staging materials, wiring parts to racks, inspecting fixtures (chains, hooks), and performing quality functions such as paddling and blowing off zinc. Operates overhead crane and powered tools, moves steel throughout plant/yard, and assists with general housekeeping.
