Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Hanahan, SC is seeking a Material Handler on 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 5:30am–12:00pm). You will use handheld scanners, support inbound receiving, and uphold the 7S and quality policies to help keep our warehouse running smoothly.

We value a high school diploma, about 1 year warehouse experience, reliability and teamwork. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work overtime when needed in a fast-paced logistics environment.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed

It'd be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of warehouse experience
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
